ADA Technical Assistance Program The Department
of Justice ADA Technical Assistance Program provides free
information and technical assistance directly to businesses,
non-profit service providers, state and local governments,
people with disabilities, and the general public.

as the Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance
Board. The Board, created in 1973, has served the nation
as the only independent federal agency whose primary mission
is accessibility for people with disabilities. Offers building

Department of Justice (ADA Homepage) The ADA gives
the Department of Justice (DOJ) authority to issue regulations
for title II and III of the ADA and to provide technical
assistance and enforcement. The Department also has authority
to certify that a State or local accessibility code is equivalent
to the ADA's requirements for new construction and alterations.
